The Role

Lead, SOX IT Controls, will direct activities and oversee compliance for areas within the Kyndryl SOX IT compliance program. The role will work across various applications, both on prem and cloud hosted, to drive the execution of SOX IT controls. The role will work with a control family leader to provide consistent reporting on control status, risk areas, direction remediation efforts and support internal and external audits. Ideal candidates will have experience as a SOX auditor, IT risk consultant, or IT compliance in a Fortune 250 organization.

Experience with Big 4 accounting firms and the SAP applications (S/4HANA including associated applications, Ariba, Fieldglass) will be considered a plus.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and executing activities related to SOX IT controls including risk identification, compliance monitoring and audit support.

  • Apply knowledge of general IT control (GITC) purpose, function, best practice design and compliance strategies.

  • Work with IT Controls leader to assist in assessing, designing, and implementing new IT risk and SOX controls.

  • Draft comprehensive executive summaries, final reports, and provide Director level reporting related to areas of responsibility.

  • Assist in coordination of consistent performance across an application and control portfolio.

Who You Are

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years’ experience working within an internal audit, IT risk, or IT compliance function as an internal employee or as part of a professional services firm.

  • Dedication to continuous learning through a combination of self-directed, certification, military, and formal education sources.

  • Detailed level knowledge in SOX IT controls and compliance oversight requirements.

  • Applicable experience at a large public accounting firm with experience or similar large firm conducting or supporting SOX IT audits.

  • Understanding of testing approaches for ITGCs, ITACs, Interfaces and related supporting controls.

  • Knowledge of SAP system deployments – both on prem and SaaS based – including strategies for implementing controls across the key SOX domains.

  • Knowledge of available compliance and transaction reports to be used for compliance testing and validation support.

  • Skills to identify elements of risk across schedule, cost and technical requirements and techniques to manage.

  • Ability to present effectively across a variety of mediums including written, visual and verbal.

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills required to communicate with employees, customers, and vendors verbally and in writing in a technical and non-technical manner.

  • Proven ability to lead a team encouraging communication and cooperative problem solving across a diverse global team.

  • Skill in learning agility; ability to quickly assimilate, understand and act upon unfamiliar data.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $74,640 to $141,960 based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $82,200 to $170,280

Colorado: $74,640 to $141,960

New York City: $89,640 to $170,280

Washington: $82,200 to $156,240

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
